Canara Bank Officers’ Organizations (CBOO) (Affiliated To BMS/NOBO)
Canara Bank Officers’ Organisation (CBOO) is a Nationalist Trade Union in the Banking
Industry, affiliated to National Organization of Bank Officers' (NOBO) - Banking Wing of
the largest trade union of the world “Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS)”.
Which encapsulating the ideology of “Nation First, Institution Second and Individual Last”.
The vision and mission of BMS has enabled CBOO to expend its wings in Canara Bank
and today we are 2nd largest officers’ union in Canara Bank.
The Canara Bank Officers’ Organisation (CBOO) was established in 1977 on
Vijayadashmi Day with the primary aim of safeguarding the dignity and honour of the
officers' of Canara Bank.
Our mission is to guide the Trade Union movement for
officers' by employing constructive methods to address their concerns, without harming the individual interests of the officers', the institution, or the nation.
CBOO serves as a representative for its members, taking up their grievances with the bank’s management, up to the highest levels, through peaceful negotiation and
representation.
We believe in addressing issues constructively and resolving them amicably.
CBOO has its units in all the circle of the Bank along with Zonal inspectorates and Head Office.
In addition to addressing grievances, CBOO provides Defence Assistance to its members when they face disciplinary action by the bank.
The organisation also publishes and disseminates various communications related to service conditions,
knowledge sharing, and promotional materials, to keep members informed and engaged.
The functioning of CBOO is carried out in a democratic and transparent manner.Office-bearers are elected during the Triennial Conference, ensuring that the views of the members are taken into account in all decisions.
CBOO remains firmly committed to the philosophy of Strong India, Strong Industry, and a Contended Workforce.

progressive and responsive Trade Union.
